Buzz that is doing the rounds in B-town is that the writer Shobhaa De is planning a book on similar lines to Victoria Beckham’s fashion advice guide book ‘Extra Half’.

On hearing this, Kareena, was more than pleased.

“I would absolutely value anything she does. However, I’m unable to say anything at this point,” says Kareena about the book to a daily.

However, not only Shobhaa but the actress’s dietician Rujuta Diwekar too has been inspired by Kareena’s figure. She is planning her second book and Kareena will be her role model. The dietician’s first book was recently launched and is selling like hot cakes. So, she doesn’t mind coming up with a book sequel.

Well, I’m sure Bebo will be honoured.

Kareena Kapoor has been chosen as India’s Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine, and we are all aware of that. She truly is beautiful. Now, the beauty queen feels she is strangely connected to Hollywood diva Julia Roberts, who is adjudged as the ‘Most Beautiful Woman In The World’.

Bebo is extremely delighted to be in the league of Julia Roberts.

Kareena said, “There`s a strange connect between us. It`s weird that I happened to be essaying Julia`s role at same time and we both feature as the most beautiful women together in a magazine. I have watched all of Julia`s films and it`s a big high to essay the same role that she did. I am inspired by her. I have always admired and tried to do the kind of woman-centric roles Julia essays like ‘Erin Brockovich’ and ‘Pretty Woman.’”

“I feel our personalities are also similar. She has a natural smile and the choices she makes, stand out. Juila is so happy and fulfilled that it shows. I am like that too,” Kareena said.

When asked as to who she thinks has the most beautiful face in the world, Kareena quipped, “My niece Samaira, sister Karisma and Juila Roberts.”

Talking about Julia, Kareena said that she admires the Hollywood actress for a lot many reasons,

“There is nothing contrived about Julia. She seems to have made peace with everything. It has everything to do with who she is. I want to be like her. I would have loved to meet her when she had come down last year to shoot in Pataudi but because I had work commitments, I couldn`t. I really feel bad about it.”

Asked if he’d be willing to promote the film jointly with Kareena, Shahid said: “Yes, I’ll do everything I can to promote it. Of course, I’ll do everything in my power to see the film gets properly released. It’s my film.”

However, Boney Kapoor felt otherwise.

“We’re getting Shahid and Kareena to do separate promotional activities. That way we give them space to be comfortable with the situation and also we get twice the publicity for ‘Milenge Milenge’ that we would if the pair promotedthe film jointly,” the producer said.

“Milenge Milenge” is special because the former couple will be seen together after Imtiaz Ali’s lovable “Jab We Met” in 2007. Kareena is currently dating actor Saif Ali Khan.

Shahid has not only decided to go all-out for “Milenge Milenge”, he has also been taking interest in the release date to ensure that it hits screens at a time when it is likely to get the best audience.

He met the producer and they mutually agreed to postpone the release from April to later in the year.

“We met and took a joint decision. Boney-ji was co-operative. Otherwise I’d have had three releases -’Milenge Milenge’, ‘Paathshala’ and ‘Badmaash Company’ – in one month,” said Shahid.

Boney said he plans to release the film, which has been directed by Satish Kaushik, in the last week of June or the first week of July.

“‘Milenge Milenge’ would be Shahid’s last release until his father’s film ‘Mausam’. Kareena and he look gorgeous together,” he said.

In fact Shahid enthusiasm about “Milenge Milenge” is seconded by Satish Kaushik. Last week, they met on the steps of the highrise apartment building they share.

Said Kaushik: “Though we live in the same building, Shahid and I never meet! I know him from the time he was a child. On Saturday night we bumped into each other in our highrise compound after a party. We spoke for nearly an hour about ‘Milenge Milenge’.

“Shahid told me the project is very dear to him and that he would go all out to promote the film.”

Kareena Kapoor brought the word Size Zero to India thanks to her wafer thin frame in Tashan, however the leggy lass who has become more curvaceous now insists that she doesn’t eat orange for food, instead she eats everything she likes and that is the reason behind her fab figure.

Kareena says, People often wonder whether I eat an orange for lunch. But that isn’t the case. I eat pasta, pizzas, french fries and even chocolates on occasions. However, I have been taught by my dietician how to eat right. I control the quantities, do upto 40 surya namaskars and stay this way.”

Kareena who is also a vegetarian (thanx to ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor) doesn’t really promote vegetarianism, says, “To each his own. Saif can eat a goat for lunch and dinner, and I sit right next to him at the table. I have no issues at all. My sister Karisma Kapur (who has the best figure, according to me) loves her fish curry and rice. My mum Babita, who is Catholic, likes her rum and raisin pudding. And my father Randhir Kapoor doesn’t know the meaning of the word vegetarian. In fact, he has been in a state of shock for the last five years because I have given up eating meat. He thinks I need my head examined.”

Talking about her size zero, Kareena laughs and says, “My size zero is such a hot topic of discussion at dinner tables across people’s homes, that when Saif and I eat out at a restaurant, people don’t stare so much at us, as much as they stare at what is on my plate. Some even ask the maitre de, ‘what is she ordering for dinner?’ I love the curiosity element.But food and films are things for which each one develops their own tastes. What is good enough for me, can never be good for you and vice versa. All I can say is that never starve. Eat right; and you will go places both with your shape and your soul.”

Kareena Kapoor has great plans for her wedding, she wants a grand wedding and definitely wants to look the best on her wedding day, but right now marriage is no where on her agenda.

Talking about recent rumors about her secret Nikaah with Saif, she says, “We have been together for two-and-half years now. We are very happy. Marriage will happen, but it hasn’t happened. At some point, we are going to settle down but we don’t know when. And catch me doing anything secretly! Anything about my life has been so much in the open. Why would I break my record and go have a hush-hushwedding? I am the last unmarried Kapoor girl in the family and I want a grand wedding… I want to be a beautiful bride but right now, I am too busy being a bride on the big screen.”

When tell her that Saif is ready to get married, but is only saying no because he doesn’t want to destroy her blooming career, she says, “That’s why I love him so much more.”

So it’s time before you see Kareena transform into a beautiful bride.

Kareena-Shahid get talking!!

One time lovers Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are known for ignoring each other ar award functions and other parties, however at a recent party hosted by SRK, both ex-lovers exchanged pleasantries thanks to director Karan Johar.

A source present at the party says, “Shahid and Kareena came face to face and everyone thought they would simply ignore each other like they have done on many occasions in the past. But this time, Karan happened to be present right there and instead of marching past each other, they slowed down for a bit. And the rest, as they say, is history.”

Kareena and Shahid kept talking for a long time and were later joined by Saif Ali Khan who also acknowledged and shared pleasantries with Shahid.

The source adds, “Shahid and Kareena have finally decided to leave their acrimonious past behind them. This was very evident in the manner all three of them – Shahid,Kareena and Saif – interacted with each other at Shah Rukh’s party.”

Kareena’s official representative did not confirm the news, but said, “Kareena has no problem with anybody, including Shahid.”
