The 20 year old actor Dev Patel, who rose to fame with Slumdog Millionaire, is currently starring in The Last Airbender. He plays the villan in this movie. He reveals the reason behind him playing a villain.

“I wanted to stretch myself and not play a stereotype, like the funny Indian guy,”

Dev also shared with an anecdote his little secret during his days of promoting Slumdog Millionaire.

“I was 18, walking the red carpet, and Sharon Stone walked past. I was like, ‘I can’t believe Sharon Stone is next to me. Can someone slap me?’ Then I felt this hand go wallop on my cheek. She just slapped me.”

Saif has lost 9 kgs and is looking leaner, muscular and smarter. He has also cut his hair short. Saif has done all this for his second home production – Agent Vinod, where he plays the role of a spy. It is said that his look is inspired from the Hollywood star Matt Damon in Bourne Identity.

Sources say that Saif has been guarding his new look carefully. Unfortunately, when he was invited for Amir Khan’s party, his new look was revealed. Also, Kareena spilled beans about Saif’s new look saying, “Saif has never looked cooler. He has lost nine kilos in three months. He’s all toned and rippling muscles,”

“He was with long hair for so long that I had forgotten how dashing he looks in cropped hair. Saif has got his hair cropped really short, that’s all I can tell you about his Agent Vinod look. He got it done a couple of days back. Since then he was reluctant to step out of his house,” Kareena said.

Those who have watched Raavan (or even its trailer) would agree that the high-cliff dive that Abhishek’s Beera takes from the lofty mountains to the gurgling water hundreds of feet below was a visual delight. But at the same time it was very risky and extremely dangerous and, in no situation, would a non-stuntman like Abhishek go ahead with it.

In that rocky terrain and gushing backwaters, one false move and death was guaranteed unless it is performed by a stuntman.

However, in the interviews leading up to the release of Raavan, Abhishek maintained that he, himself, had performed that dare devilry. But, MS Balram, a former national diving champion, claims that it was he who had performed the death-defying stunt.

Balram says, “I am not here to create any controversy or to attract publicity because personally, I am a big fan of the Bachchans. I just want Mani Ratnam Sir’s movie to do well. But, it is also true that I was paid for doing the stunt and I am proud that I could do it.”

Whereas Abhishek had stated, “I went ahead to do the dive scenes myself even though Mani Ratnam opposed it.”

Now, a few questions that have come up are: How do we expect Abhishek’s parents to permit him to do such a life-threatening stunt when they don’t even allow him to ride a bike? Why would his makers allow him to gamble with gravity? Besides, the jump was perfectly balanced and postured (something that only an expert stuntman could do at one take). Shall we accept that Abhishek gave several re-takes to perfect that plunge?

The grapevine has it that, Bollywood’s sweet heart Salman will be romancing Deepika in an upcoming film to be directed by his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.

It was heard that, Salman and Deepika were going to work together with Anees Bazme, but things didn’t work out properly.

However, Salman was reluctant to work with Deepika as she was in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor who was allegedly also dating Katrina Kaif. Secondly, Deepika is known to be in close proximity with Shah Rukh, which is one of the main reasons for Salman not wanting to work with her.

In a recent interview to a film magazine, former Bigg Boss participant, actor and producer Raja Chaudhary very candidly said, “Shradha is better than Shweta (Shweta Tiwari) as a person, a human and a companion.” He further added than Shradha Sharma is much more sexier and beautiful than his ex-wife Shweta Tiwari.

Raja Chaudhary is a fighter, a survivor and a tough person. In spite of what has been written about him in the past, Raja has made a U-turn. He has convinced his lady-love Shradha Sharma to be with him and the couple have kissed and made up.

In fact, Raja is expected to go to Shradha’s home at Lokhandwala officially this Sunday and ask her to take him back as her partner. He is also expected to propose marriage to her once again, after their bitter experience in Emotional Attayachar.

If Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek can do a Reality Show together even after breaking up, so can Shradha Sharma and Raja Chaudhary. But in this case, the couple is now very much together. Sources say that Sharadha and Raja Chaudhary will be seen in a dance Reality Show very soon on a popular Hindi entertainment channel.

The couple is also negotiating a comedy show togther as well as stage shows and item songs in films. Raja Chaudhary is supposedly producing a new music video for Sharadha. Abhishek Bachchan has no doubt come a long way from where he started a decade back. Though he has managed to please the audience and critics in many of films over the years, his father still believes he can do better.

Apparently when Amitabh Bachchan saw the promo of Raavan for the first time, he quite liked it.

“My father patted on my back and said well done,” says a cheerful Abhsihek. “And then he turned back and said Aishwarya was better than I was!” he laughs out.

He added saying,

“She is one of the best actors we have in the film industry and her work for herself. I don’t compete with her or anybody else. I just compete with myself,”.

Don’t worry Abhi!!! A day is not very far when you would be at par with your wife.

Sonam Kapoor is not dating anyone. The reports of her link-up with her director Punit Malhotra have also been denied.

Punit, who is directing Sonam in his upcoming film “I Hate Luv Stories” has denied that he is going around with the actress. In fact Punit feels that the media is cooking up the stories out of their own imagination when the truth is not that.

The director accepts that such link-up stories disturb him and he cannot figure out the reason why such baseless reports are published.

Punit is kicked about his film “I Hate Luv Stories” which is produced by Dharma Productions and stars Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan in the lead.

Salman, the hunk can be described as a true star with a heart of gold. Recently while filming for his upcoming venture ‘ Dabangg’ in Panchgani, the unpredictable Salman displayed his compassionate side and refused to kill a fish for his lunch.

When Salman was shooting for Dabangg, the crew spent five days in catching a 4 ft big whooper as Salman loves fish for lunch, but when Salman saw the fish trying to get away from the clutches, he ordered them to let it go.
